Compact PROFINET I/O Module with 2DI 12DO 1AI IP67-rated and 10/100 Mbps Communication

GXPI-DI2DO12AI1/A is a compact PROFINET remote I/O module designed for industrial automation field applications. It integrates 2 digital inputs (DI), 12 digital outputs (DO), and 1 analog input (AI) in a single IP67-rated field I/O module, providing a practical interface between field devices and PLC or other PROFINET controllers.

The module supports PROFINET RT with 10/100 Mbps communication and features two M12 D-coded PROFINET ports with an integrated Ethernet switch. It supports MRP, topology detection, automatic address assignment, and Fast Startup (FSU), making it suitable for distributed PROFINET I/O architectures.

For field I/O, the module provides 2 PNP digital inputs and 12 PNP digital outputs. The digital outputs operate at 24 VDC, support up to 0.7 A per channel, and provide short-circuit protection. The integrated analog input supports 0/4-20 mA current signals with 12-bit resolution and a digital range of 0-4095.

The power architecture separates UB system/sensor power from UL load power. M12 connectors are used for field I/O and PROFINET communication, while a 7/8-inch 5-pin connector is used for power. With an IP67 rating, compact 226 * 62 * 24 mm housing, and field-oriented connectivity, GXPI-DI2DO12AI1/A is designed for distributed industrial automation installations.
