This is a high quality, industrial style connector. It's great for robotics or industrial controls where you need a water tight connection you can easily disconnect. I'm using it to connect a remote GPS serial port signal, and it's working great. It's a good value, and it's just as good quality as you will get from the big industrial electronics stores.

Good quality connector and cable. Worked great for a control project I was doing and arrived faster than I could get it anywhere else. Real copper wire and brass pins. Solid housing and good strain relief. Very pleased.
